Breakfast and brunch favorite, First Watch, is opening in Goodyear.

The restaurant is set to open at GSQ at 1670 N. Bullard Avenue, Suite 110 some time in 2026, according to the City of Goodyear. This will be Goodyear’s first location of the popular breakfast spot, joining 34 existing Arizona locations.

First Watch is a unique concept that, unlike many other restaurant models, is open only in the daytime from 7 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. The restaurant caters to early birds who prefer to dine on breakfast, brunch, and lunch, with a menu that rotates five times seasonally, guided by its corporate “follow the sun” ethos. That process ensures ingredients are freshly sourced.

Menu favorites include pancakes, granola bowls, avocado toast, eggs, and doughnut holes. The restaurant also offers a selection of juices, smoothies, and brunch cocktails like mimosas and Bloody Marys.

Recently, First Watch was named number one on the Best Practice Institute’s annual Most Loved Workplaces list, thanks in part to the company’s “You First” culture for its more than 15,000 employees. Led by president and CEO Chris Tomasso, the company earned high marks for its worker benefits such as back up child and elder care, free access to the Calm app, personal and professional coaching, free telemedicine services, plus free high school diploma and tuition reimbursement programs.
