Flagship Restaurant Group has signed a lease for approximately 14,000 square feet at Heritage Park in Downtown Gilbert, located at 9655 N. Gilbert Road.
The announcement was made recently by Creation in partnership with Crescent Communities, according to AZ Big Media. Flagship Restaurant Group is responsible for various restaurants, including Châm Pang Lanes, Pyro, Palma, Anthem, Blue Sushi Sake Grill, Clio, Roja Mexican Grill + Margarita Bar, and more. It’s unclear when the three new yet-to-be-named restaurants will open, but a groundbreaking ceremony for the development is planned for early 2025.
“At Creation, we take pride in our longstanding commitment to enhancing Downtown Gilbert with distinctive projects that enrich the community,” David Sellers, co-founder of Creation, said in a news release. “Heritage Park builds on our years of work in the neighborhood, creating a central space that reflects Gilbert’s character and brings people together. We’re excited to see this project come to life and welcome Flagship Restaurant Group, whose innovative concepts and dedication to quality will elevate the dining and social experiences in the East Valley.”
Heritage Park is set to be a 10-acre mixed-use development located at the southwest corner of Gilbert Road and Juniper Avenue. The project will be completed in phases. Phase one includes approximately 47,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a multifamily community with 288 residential units, over 300 surface parking spaces, and a 17,500-square-foot public square featuring water elements, mature landscaping, public art, and walking and biking paths. Future phases will incorporate a 125-room hotel, office spaces, and additional parking.
“Partnering with Creation on the development of Heritage Park allows us to bring a diverse mix of dining, retail, and residential spaces to vibrant Downtown Gilbert,” Sagar Rathie, managing director for Crescent Communities, said in a news release. “Our goal is to create a destination that enhances the community, serving as a dynamic hub for social and economic activity in the East Valley, and we’re looking forward to contributing to the growth and vitality of this thriving region throughout the coming years.”
