Flower Child, the restaurant that offers “Healthy food for a Happy World”, is opening a restaurant in Peoria.
The restaurant chain just submitted a site plan with the City of Peoria for a new 4,000 square foot restaurant with a 1,000 square foot covered patio within The Trailhead commercial center, located at 8230 W. Happy Valley Road. No opening date has been announced, as construction has not yet commenced.
Flower Child was founded by Sam Fox of Arizona-based Fox Restaurant Concepts. In 2019, The Cheesecake Factory purchased the chain, however, Fox continues to operate it.
The restaurant is known for its bright and cheerful dining rooms and customer loyalty programs.
The restaurant specializes in healthful menu items like soups, salads, and bowls. Flower Child offers vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free friendly dishes that cater to many dietary needs. Customers can also enjoy protein-fueled meals made with chicken, shrimp, steak, or salmon. The restaurant also offers larger format meals, perfect for families. Guests can also enjoy wine, beer, and kombucha at most locations.
Flower Child currently has close to 40 restaurants in Arizona, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Las Vegas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. The restaurant chain has expansion plans, with an additional restaurant in Riverton, Utah opening soon along with the Peoria location.
