Fogo de Chão, the internationally recognized Brazilian steakhouse, is getting ready to open in Goodyear at the southwest corner of Goodyear Way and Bullard Avenue, within the highly anticipated GSQ mixed-use development.

The new location is set to open in 2026 and will span approximately 8,460 square feet, according to a press release. Fogo de Chão joins a wave of new tenants aimed at transforming GSQ into a premier lifestyle destination in the West Valley. While an exact opening date has not been confirmed, customers can expect Fogo de Chão’s signature churrasco-style dining, which includes premium fire-roasted meats served tableside and a well-stocked Market Table featuring seasonal salads, fresh vegetables, and traditional Brazilian side dishes.

Fogo de Chão was founded in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1979 and opened its first U.S. location in 1997. Since then, it has grown into a global brand with more than 70 locations across the Americas. The Goodyear restaurant will be the company’s fourth Arizona location, following others in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tucson. The concept is known for its upscale yet approachable dining experience, appealing to both special-occasion diners and casual guests.

The GSQ development, co-developed by RED Development and Globe Corporation, is a 150-acre project designed to serve as Goodyear’s central cultural and commercial hub. Anchored by civic spaces, retail, and hospitality offerings, the district continues to attract national brands and upscale restaurants. Fogo de Chão’s presence further elevates the dining mix, reinforcing GSQ’s appeal to both residents and visitors.

The restaurant’s design is expected to include both indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, and private dining spaces for group events. Fogo de Chão’s expansion into Goodyear underscores its confidence in the area’s growth and demand for elevated dining.

“Arizona has shown tremendous enthusiasm for our authentic Brazilian churrasco experience, and we are excited to bring our premium fire-roasted meats, abundant Market Table, and warm Brazilian hospitality to Goodyear,” said Marcio Bonfada, Area Director of Fogo de Chão.

Also joining the GSQ development are Nordstrom Rack and First Watch, both set to open in 2026 and 2027, respectively. Nordstrom Rack will anchor the retail lineup with a 25,000-square-foot store offering a curated selection of top brands at discounted prices. First Watch will introduce its signature daytime dining concept in a 3,800-square-foot space featuring a patio, bar, and a locally inspired mural, serving popular menu items such as Avocado Toast, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and Million Dollar Bacon.
