A brand new American restaurant, Jones, is getting ready to debut in Old Town Scottsdale, located at 7318 E Stetson Dr.

Last month, the Scottsdale City Council recommended a liquor license for the concept from Jones Food and Beverage, LLC, which is associated with Ryan Jocque of Jocque Concepts, according to a recent City Council report. Jones is set to move into the former home of several former concepts, including Philadelphia Sandwich Company, Mulligan’s, and El Chameleon. The new restaurant will open later this year, possibly early next year, considering it is still in the permitting and approval stages.

When Jones opens, customers can expect a 796-square-foot outdoor patio and an intimate 694-square-foot indoor dining area featuring a bar, five booths, and an area for dart games, according to plan details. As for food, the restaurant will start by offering a handful of snacks, such as fries, a smoked trout dip, deviled eggs, pretzel bread, and more. Those wanting to share a plate or two can choose from “Chrispy Sea of Cortez” shrimp, wings, truffle spinach, artichoke dip, and more.

As for larger meals, customers will have plenty of entrees, including burgers, honey jalapeno chicken, Kobe beef hot dogs, shaved prime rib, T-bone steak, filet, and more. Each entree includes one side: fries, onion rings, Caesar salad, or mac and cheese. The restaurant will also serve 14″ house-made and hand-stretched pizzas, with several different options available.

Pending the upcoming liquor license, Jones will offer a variety of alcoholic drinks, including house tonics and cocktails, such as the vanilla Red Eye, made with vanilla vodka, cold brew, and espresso. The restaurant will also offer plenty of red and white wines and rose, champagne, and sparkling options. On top of beers, there will also be iced tea, iced coffee, soda, and more.

Whether or not this is an official new restaurant from Jocque Concepts, Ryan is responsible for several other popular restaurants in Arizona, including The Hot Chick, The Montauk, Eat Up Drive-In, American Junkie, Pretty Please Lounge, The Lighthouse Cafe, and Diego Pops.
