After nearly a decade in business, Hash Kitchen’s north Scottsdale location at 14838 N Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will serve its final brunch at the end of May.

The eatery opened in 2016 as the second location in the Hash Kitchen chain. Although the lease for the Scottsdale outpost is not being renewed, Hash Kitchen founder Joey Maggiore confirmed plans for continued expansion in the area. “We are opening two new locations in the market and many more across the country,” Maggiore said in a statement to The Arizona Republic. While specific addresses or opening dates have not yet been announced, the move signals that the brand’s brunch-forward concept remains in high demand across metro Phoenix.

The chain currently operates six other Hash Kitchen locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler, and Peoria, all of which will remain open. Hash Kitchen is part of the Maggiore Group, a Valley-based hospitality company led by chef and entrepreneur Joey Maggiore and his wife, Cristina, and business partner Flora Tersigni. The group is known for its high-energy dining experiences and chef-driven menus. In addition to Hash Kitchen, their portfolio includes The Sicilian Butcher, The Sicilian Baker, The Mexicano, and The Italiano. The team is also preparing to debut Patzy’s Delicatessen, a New York-style deli slated to open soon in Phoenix.

Hash Kitchen is known for its creative brunch menu and build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Signature dishes include carnitas hash, banana foster French toast, and cannoli pancakes. The menu also features breakfast classics like eggs Benedict and omelets. Guests can order mimosa flights and boozy cereal milk. Vegan and gluten-free options are available at most locations. Hash Kitchen also offers kid-friendly options, making it popular for families. While it’s family-friendly, Weekend DJ sets add a lively, party-like atmosphere to the brunch experience at Hash Kitchen, making it the perfect place for anyone to grab a bite to eat or something to drink.
