A vacant cinema and brewhouse in downtown Chandler is in the works of reopening as a LOOK Dine-In Cinema.
Originally built in 2018, the 35,000 square-foot property at 1 W Chandler Blvd will have a nine-screen movie theater with over 1,000 seats, as well as an onsite brewery and restaurant and bar.
The property was acquired by AZ Management & Investments, LLC for around $7.1 million and will be brokered by Cushman & Wakefield.
The LOOK cinemas, according to their official website, started off with the simple question of wondering what makes going to the movies special.
The result of that became a theater where you can create a customizable viewing experience by booking a private auditorium, or just enjoy the opportunity to rejoin the community at the movie of your choice.
Their Look & Dine technology allows the patrons to order and pay on their phones, with the food then delivered directly to their seats without any interruption of the film. The website further states, “Our world class menu looks beyond the traditional moviegoing fare with everything from cocktails to pizza to sushi. But don’t worry, we still have amazing popcorn.”
With Cushman & Wakefield having just settled the brokerage, no official opening date for the LOOK cinema has been announced just yet.
