We’ve been tracking the opening of Hidden Track Bottle Shop’s second location for quite some time and finally have some firm details to offer our readers who’ve been following along with us. Owner Danielle Middlebrook confirms that their second location in Uptown Phoenix will be ready to open by next month, pending some last-minute permit approvals.
Middlebrook tells What Now Phoenix that this new shop is bigger than their Downtown location at 1,700 square feet adding, “We’re excited for our expansion and to bring great wines to the neighborhood.”
She says that the new location’s curation will focus more on natural wines and small producers. It will be similar to the original in that it is equal parts a wine shop, wine bar, and bodega. It’s more wine bar driven, but there will still be little bites to nosh on.
Middlebrook says that dishes served out of their original location, such as tin fish and lobster, have really taken off, so they are thinking of ways to incorporate something similar at the new digs. Perhaps the biggest difference between the two locations is that the new one will not necessarily have the café component, since there is already a coffee shop nearby.
As a result, the Uptown location will likely have later hours to accommodate guests from the afternoon into the evening. Until we know exactly what those hours will be, you can stay tuned to Hidden Track Bottle Shop’s website, or Facebook and Instagram accounts for more information.
