A new Arizona brewery called Hundred Mile Brewing Company is coming to Tempe this summer! Arizona recently issued the business an in-state microbrewery license to operate at 600 N. Scottsdale Road off Loop 202 by Tempe Town Lake.
Hundred Mile Brewing will be a friendly, casual brewpub, serving their own handcrafted beers and delicious bites. The concept is brought to us by owner Sue Rigler, who tells What Now Phoenix that they plan to open by summer.
Rigler has several years of experience in the craft beer industry, selling brewing equipment with Krones AG and having earned a Brewing Certification from UC San Diego Extension in 2017. Hundred Mile Brewing Company is Rigler’s first solo brewing project.
“We will have a 10-barrel brewing system in our facility, which will also serve as a restaurant. We just acquired our demo permits, so there is a lot of construction and design to be done over the coming months,” she says. In the meantime, Rigler will also be busy preparing other aspects of the business, including a menu.
