Hutch Kitchen & Cocktails is coming to 2603 N. Central Ave. in Midtown, according to a liquor license obtained by What Now Phoenix. The new restaurant is taking over the former Switch, which permanently closed its doors this past September.
Hutch Kitchen & Cocktails is brought to us by the creators of Crown Public House in Downtown. Owner Jason Bell confirmed plans for the new venture, saying that they are scheduled to open by the first week of January.
While Crown Public House has more of a pub-like feel to it, Bell says Hutch is intended to offer a more refined dining experience, serving worldly cuisine with an American twist. For now, those were all the details he indulged while much of their plans are still being worked out. More information and a formal announcement from the restaurant will follow in the coming weeks.
