Jamba is slated to open a brand new location towards the end of this year. It will be part of a new development on West McDowell Road and will share a building with McAlister’s Deli. This location will have its own dedicated drive-thru lane, plus indoor and outdoor seating arrangements.

This is the latest Jamba location for Whirld Concepts, Inc., who owns and operates 32 locations throughout the Valley. “We’re excited to bring a new Jamba to the city of Goodyear and to continue to work with the best-in-class concepts from Focus Brands,” Whirld Concepts owner Panos Joulios tells What Now Phoenix.

“Jamba has a strong presence in the Phoenix market and there is incredible opportunity for McAlister’s Deli to grow in this region. The team at Whirld Concepts and Whirld Eats is leveraging the right real estate development to bring these two brands to Goodyear, and we look forward to marking the opening of these restaurants later this year” says Focus Brands Chief Development Officer Brian Krause.

This will be the second Goodyear location for Jamba. Formerly known as Jamba Juice, the chain rebranded in 2019 to reflect that they were more than just juice. “When Jamba Juice started 30 years ago, a juice shop meant something completely different than how our guests see them today. Juices will remain on the menu, but Jamba Juice is shortening its name to reflect its expanded menu that features smoothies, juices, bowls, boosts and fun size on-the-go bites,” they note on their website.
