Kenect Phoenix — a membership-based luxury apartment complex offering onsite retail, restaurants, and more from Akara Partners — will officially open this summer downtown at 355 N Central Avenue, between The Westin and Hampton Inn & Suites.
Along with a members-only rooftop pool, fitness center, community workspace, and dog park, Kenect Phoenix will also offer its residents and members exclusive access to digital ghost kitchens, a business concept used by restaurants to make food for delivery.
In partnership with C3 (Creating Culinary Communities), a food and drink platform founded by Sam Nazarian, Kenect Phoenix (and all future Kenect properties) will serve as a ghost kitchen hub for restaurants like Umami Burger, Krispy Rice, Sam’s Crispy Chicken, and Plant Nation. Each participating restaurant will also have a street-facing cafe on the property.
According to a press release, C3 will helm all Kenect dining operations, including onsite restaurants, lobby cafes and bars, pool decks, and delivery to residents and members.
“C3 kitchens offer a significant value-add for residents at Kenect,” Rajen Shastri, founder and CEO of Akara Partners, said in the release. “This partnership allows us to tap into C3′s network of in-demand brands like Krispy Rice and Umami Burger, elevating our amenity-rich buildings and hospitality services by providing a seamless dining experience for our residents as well as our social and co-working club members.”
