Get your bibs ready because LA Crab Shack is headed west! The seafood boil restaurant has applied for its liquor license at 6750 W. Peoria Ave. on the northwest corner with 67th Avenue. This will be the second LA Crab Shack location in the Valley.
The first one in Mesa was brought to us by Alan Nguyen, who has since sold it to a franchisee. Now, Nguyen and business partner Tin Vo are bringing the concept to Peoria, where they will establish LA Crab Shack’s new flagship restaurant.
In a phone call with What Now Phoenix, Vo confirmed that a second LA Crab Shack was in the works to open around February 2023. While they await approval for a liquor license, they are also beginning the long process of receiving new equipment and permitting with the city.
At the start, LA Crab Shack’s Peoria location will have the same menu as that in Mesa. Expect a fresh selection of shrimp, crawfish, crab, lobster, clams and mussels direct from the Gulf Coast, all boiled to perfection in your favorite seasoning and spices.
The menu also includes a hearty selection of fried platters and appetizers, Cajun dishes, Po’ Boys, and salads. Wash it all down with a $6 cocktail, beer or wine. Vo says that eventually, the Peoria location will expand this menu with new additions.
