A taco shop is laying down roots in Cave Creek. Loco J’s Tacos and Tequila will open this summer in Dynamite Park, at 28260 N Tatum Boulevard, in a small plaza near The Creek Patio Grill, The Creek Cookies and Cream, and the Shops at Diamond Creek.
The space, formerly a Barro’s Pizza, is located near the corner of North Tatum Boulevard and East Dynamite Boulevard, and Loco J’s can’t set up shop a moment too soon. The only other taco joint in the area is the Taco Bell on the corner of Tatum and Cave Creek Road, which, it’s fair to say, doesn’t serve up the same handcrafted tacos and margaritas that Loco J’s has in the works.
No word on the date of the grand opening, but the restaurant had their signage approved by Tatum Ranch in March, and hopes to be in business by the summer. Follow them on Facebook or head to their website for updates.
