Mesquite Fresh Street Mex, the Phoenix-based fast casual restaurant, is opening a restaurant at Goodyear’s Ballpark Village North, located at Estrella Parkway and Yuma Road. The center will be conveniently close to Goodyear Ballpark, the spring training home of the Cleveland Guardians ant the Cincinnati Reds.
The restaurant is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, according to the City of Goodyear’s website.
Mesquite Fresh Street Mex is loved for its proteins grilled over authentic mesquite wood, giving its tacos, bowls, burritos, salads a rich, smokey flavor. The restaurant also offers breakfast burritos, agua fresca, kids’ meals, and convenient family meals.
The locally-owned restaurant chain was founded by Naser and Ahmad Alatrash to serve fresh food that features meals grilled on an open flame, freshly-made salsas, and a slower approach to fast food. Its approach to casual dining has paid off, and currently there are 10 locations open.
Mesquite Fresh Street Mex also regularly gives back to the communities it serves with events and activations such as the Toys 4 Tacos holiday toy drive that collect toys for children in need, the Burritos for Breast Cancer fundraiser, the National Quesadilla Day event. and its Autism Acceptance Month campaign.
