Mexico-based brewery, Buqui Bichi, appears to be plotting its second taproom not only in Phoenix but the entirety of the US, at 21 W Van Buren St, according to a liquor license application recently filed with the city.

The company made headlines earlier this year when it was announced that its first taproom this side of the border would take up residence in nearby Chandler.

With five taprooms to its name, Buqui Bichi is making good on its mission to create “a sacred place where camaraderie and relaxed atmosphere gather urban tribes who enjoy experiencing unique flavors.”

Those unique flavors are manifested in six different brews that span the hoppy varietal spectrum, including a SahuarIPA, a kölsch dubbed the Banquetera, an amber ale known as the Chucata, the Talega coffee stout, Bitachera hazy IPA, and baseball-inspired American wheat ale, or Buena Bola.
