Millán Tacos y Mariscos is planned to open at 3416 W. Thomas Road in west Phoenix, according to a pending liquor license in State of Arizona public records. The address is currently home to Mariscos Puro Mazatlán, whose license expired in 2019.
Judging from the former’s track record on Google, Millán Tacos y Mariscos will likely be a welcome change on the corner of Thomas and 35th. While the owners have been contacted, they have not yet responded to requests for comment.
In the meantime, agents for the new restaurant have told What Now Phoenix that they will probably open around March 2022. Based on the name, perhaps we can expect taqueria-style tacos and a delicious selection of seafood dishes, such as aguachile or ceviche.
For certain, they may be serving a small selection of beers, based on our initial source. Until they do open, we can only keep an eye on this location for further developments.
Correction: An earlier version of this article stated the address was in “northwest” Phoenix. Readers have pointed out that this address is just considered “west” Phoenix.
