Scottsdale wine enthusiasts have something to look forward to this summer: Mise En Place. The new wine bar is underway at 13610 N. Scottsdale Road at The Plaza on the southwest corner of Scottsdale and Thunderbird Roads.
At the beginning of the year, What Now Phoenix obtained real estate intel regarding Mise En Place Wine Bar. The new business had just secured a lease for a 1,120 square-foot retail space formerly belonging to Desert Sun Yoga, then Vehicle Title & Registration Services.
It’s obvious that this spot has seen a few businesses come and go, but hopefully Mise En Place is here to stay. They ostensibly moved in last month to begin renovations and most recently, they’ve submitted an application for an ABC license to the state of Arizona.
Mise En Place owner Larry Allison tells What Now Phoenix that they hope to open by the beginning of June. Until then, they are busy fine-tuning every last detail, from the wine list to the interior decor.
Wine bars are apparently getting pretty popular throughout the Phoenix Metro market, from Turquoise Wine Bar in Glendale, Vegan & Vine in north Phoenix, and the opening of Hidden Track’s second location in uptown. With Mise En Place in the mix, there is sure to be a place to whet your wine palate no matter where you are in the Valley.
