Mixt, a California Bay Area-based chain specializing in customizable salads, is due to open their second Arizona location. Their website notes that they’re moving into 4290 E. Indian School Road at the Arcadia Promenade shopping center on the northwest corner with 44th Street in Phoenix. An opening date hasn’t been announced.
Owners Leslie and David Silverglide bore the idea of Mixt from wanting to combine good, healthy food and business practices in a fast-casual setting. They locally source farm fresh ingredients to uphold their philosophy of serving healthy, quality meals to their customers.
The result is a wholesome menu of Chef Crafted Salads and Bowls, of which there are 12 varieties, in addition to a rotating list of seasonal offerings. What makes Mixt so popular among the masses, however, is their “Design Your Own” option, which gives customers the opportunity to customize a base of greens or grains with five premium ingredients, proteins, and dressings.
In addition to their values of serving customers nutritious and delicious meals, Mixt also strives to make a meaningful impact on environmental sustainability. “As a Certified B Corporation, we commit to make measurable positive impact for our workers, guests, suppliers, community, and the environment. From team member benefits to the food we serve, we’re using business as a force for good in the world every day,” Leslie states on their website.
In addition to 14 California locations, Mixt also maintains outposts in Dallas and Scottsdale Quarter. For more information, visit www.mixt.com.
