MOD Pizza is coming soon to Buckeye! The pizza chain was recently issued its liquor license for 19550 W. Indian School Road in Verrado next to the Fry’s Food and Drug off North Jackrabbit Trail.

MOD Pizza is known for serving up made-to-order individual pizzas. They have nine classic offerings such as the Mad Dog (mozzarella, pepperoni, mild sausage, ground beef, and red sauce) or the Dillon James (mozzarella, asiago, fresh chopped basil, garlic, sliced tomatoes, and red sauce)

Customers also have the option to create their own pizza with a selection of over 40 toppings and eight finishing sauces. MOD Pizza even has a unique Pizza Salad, with which customers can create their own salad and have it served atop warm asiago pizza crust.

Just as important as MOD Pizza’s delicious menu is their values. The company aims to make a positive social impact on the communities which they serve, which is why their “people first ideology” starts with their hiring practices.

MOD Pizza recognizes individuals who commonly face barriers to employment such as those who are formerly incarcerated, have intellectual or developmental disabilities, are struggling with homelessness, recovering from addiction, and Opportunity Youth who are not in school and unemployed. MOD aims to foster a sense of belonging and opportunity for these folks to build stronger communities.
