More Parlor Doughnuts are Coming to the Valley Following Tempe Debut

The company is planning to open additional sites in Ahwatukee and Phoenix

After recently making its Arizona debut with a location in Tempe, franchise owners of Parlor Doughnuts are planning to open more locations throughout the area, including a site in Phoenix at 6120 N 16th St.

The company entered the state this week for the first time at the northeast corner of University and Farmer in downtown Tempe at 707 S. Farmer Avenue, Site #123. Franchisee Valley Crunch LLC owns and operates this location and doesn’t plan on slowing down. Vice president of operations Hayden Lesko tells What Now Phoenix that the franchise group is working on a site at 16th Street and Bethany Home Road that is under construction, expected to open in Summer 2024, possibly early Fall.

The Indiana-based company is also planning to open a third Arizona site in Ahwatukee at 4025 E Chandler Blvd #28, which will be owned and operated by a separate franchise owner, according to Lesko. This expansion is impressive for Parlor Doughnuts, founded by Darrick Hayden in partnership with Josh Tudela in early 2019. The fast-growing doughnut franchise has since expanded to dozens of locations throughout several states in the country, offering a variety of delicious doughnuts available in different flavors.

“We are a craft doughnut and coffee shop offering an array of unique bakery items, including our original layered doughnuts; vegan/gluten-friendly, and keto-friendly products; artisanal breakfasts; and specialty coffee,” according to the company’s website. “Our goal is to efficiently deliver a superior product at a moderate price, with exceptional service, in a comfortable setting.”
