A new Mesa sweets shop called Outcast Doughnuts is in the works at 104 W. Main St. in downtown, according to recent real estate intel. Owner Anthony Tillman tells What Now Phoenix that he hopes to open this fall

Tillman says that Outcast Doughnuts will specialize in layered croissant donuts with various toppings. They will also have a signature “Donecone,” which is an ice cream cone made with doughnut dough and filled with soft serve.

In addition to these sweet treats, Outcast Doughnuts will have other small bites, plus a stellar coffee and espresso program that is currently in the works. At this stage, many aspects of the new business are in the very early stages of planning.

The 2,325 square-foot retail space of Suite 105 will undergo a build out. We are likely to see updates on the website and Facebook page that are already in place, but will also be further developed over the next several months. Stay tuned.
