After several delays, the owners of Pedal Haus Brewery are finally ready to open the new location in Mesa later this year, located at 201 E. Main Street.

The company’s fourth site was initially expected to open in April 2022, but construction costs and other factors forced the company to delay the opening by a couple of years. Company owner Julian Wright recently announced that work has restarted on the Mesa site, and it is set to open in Fall 2024, according to Phoenix Business Journal. This will be Pedal Haus’ first “Biergarten” concept, with a 6,000-square-foot dog-friendly patio and an indoor-outdoor bar.

“We are looking forward to debuting this new concept for Pedal Haus – the ‘biergarten’ – which will provide a largely outdoor space for people to enjoy great beer, delicious food, lawn games, live music, and more,” Wright said in a statement reported by the Phoenix Business Journal.

When the new Pedal Haus Brewery opens later this year in the former home of Pit Stop auto body shop, customers can expect a welcoming environment full of fire pits and a stage for live music. Inside will be about 2,300 square feet, where guests can get even more delicious food and drinks. The Tempe-based company currently has additional locations in downtown Phoenix and Chandler as well as within the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Many are excited that Pedal Haus is progressing in its newest location.

“Downtown Mesa is the perfect location for Pedal Haus’ new Biergarten,” Mesa Mayor John Giles said in a statement. “It will add a new dimension to our growing local brewery scene. I’m excited to check out the festive atmosphere, live music, great food, and more.”
