Peoria Artisan Brewery is expanding at W Deer Valley Rd & N Lake Pleasant Pkwy in Peoria, according to the Upper West Side PHX blog.
When asked about the opening, co-owner Matthew Frosch told What Now Phoenix, “I’m going to have to base that on our progress of all the little details that are needed.” They are currently aiming for early December.
The brewery has the following backstory shared on their website: “We are a family and community oriented brewery and gastropub in North Peoria, AZ. We take great pride in crafting our in-house brews on a 5 BBL (155 gallon) brew system and creating authentic, scratch cuisine for our guests. Join us to enjoy our house brewed fermented creations and the fresh, New American cuisine of Chef Michael Mahalick. We are very proud of our small brewery and the dedication we have to our community. We are local owners who live, work and play in the NW Valley Community we serve. Owned and operated by Peoria residents Matthew and Kristina Frosch and our Co-owner and Executive Chef Michael Mahalick, we are an independent and truly local establishment that greatly appreciates your support and dedication. We are a first come, first served BrewPub and do not take reservations. Enjoy our all scratch menu and craft beers in our dining room, bar or our beautiful patio. We feature a full bar with hand-crafted cocktails, 20 taps of craft beer and amazing selection of craft food by our Executive Chef and Kitchen Team.”
Menu items include scratch meals under Chef Michael Mahalick, which features hand-cut Kennebec Potato Fries, sandwiches, burgers, house roasted meats, and slow smoked BBQ. Their menu changes approximately every six months, which they said is “in order to stay creative, provide interesting options and reflect the respective season.” Customers can also enjoy independent craft beer and cocktails in their patio area, bar, or dining room on a first come, first served basis.
