Pinky’s, a new sports bar and grill by some familiar names in hospitality, is opening in downtown Phoenix, near Roosevelt Row.
Pinky’s Restaurant LLC filed applications with the State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for a license for the bar and grill to open at 810 N. Second Street, at the former Angel’s Trumpet location.
The name, Pinky’s, honors Arizona’s cattle ranching roots, with the letters of the logo formed from rope. The bar will be decorated in rich browns, festooned with bold neon signs.
The bar, slated to open June 1, is a collaboration between Robert Cissell (Instrumental Hospitality), Ariel Bracamonte (Cobra Arcade), and Phoenix developer Chuckie Duff.
Pinky’s will feature indoor and outdoor seating for 150 and will offer food, drink, pool tables, and plenty of TVs for game viewing. In addition to a drinks and several beers on tap, Pinky’s will offer bar favorites such as burgers, wings, fries, and nachos. The patio will be dog-friendly, according to the Phoenix New Times, so get your pup ready for a new hangout spot.
