A new bubble tea shop called Polba Tea is planned for Chandler. What Now Phoenix obtained a permit for a new illuminated wall sign to be put up at Unit 14 on 2040 S. Alma School Road, at the strip mall anchored by Fry’s Food and Drug.
According to public records filed with the State of Arizona, the shop will sell bubble teas and milk teas. They also have plans to serve some light fried snacks such as fries, popcorn chicken and takoyaki, which is a delicious Japanese “octopus ball” snack.
It’s possible that Polba Tea will open sometime in early 2022, as suggested by the permit. The owners have declined to comment when contacted.
Until they do open, all we can do is keep an eye on this address and try to keep our boba cravings under control.
