The country’s largest coffee chain, Starbucks, is set to take over the former Wendy’s at 1970 W Glendale Ave in north Phoenix and could be opening during the third quarter of this year according to details on multiple leasing sites reviewed by What Now Phoenix.

A representative of Starbucks did not immediately return a request for comment.

Interestingly, according to data compiled earlier this month by ScrapeHero, Phoenix has the eighth most Starbucks locations with 117, trailing the company’s hometown of Seattle – which places seventh – by a mere 11 stores. What’s more, the state of Arizona as a whole has the seventh most Starbucks cafes with some 562.
