Washington D.C.-born and Los Angeles-based Sweetgreen, the health-focused restaurant chain, is getting ready to make its Arizona debut next year in the Biltmore area of Phoenix and at Scottsdale Quarter.
The company recently announced that it has signed two leases in the Valley: 3221 E. Camelback Road and 15323 N. Scottsdale Road, first reported by AZ Central. The two new Sweetgreen locations are expected to open in late 2025. When it opens, customers can expect various fan-favorite menu items, such as Sweetgreen’s seasonal Harvest Bowl, Kale Caesar, Guacamole Greens, Chicken Pesto Parm, and Hot Honey Chicken plate.
“Arizona has been a long-requested market for us,” co-founder and CEO Jonathan Neman said in a press release. “We are thrilled to expand into Arizona and join the Biltmore and Scottsdale communities.”
Arizona isn’t the only state that is getting new Sweetgreen locations. The company is planning to open new locations in Los Angeles’ Woodland Hills, Farmington Valley in Connecticut, Tampa’s Edge District, New Jersey’s Westfield area, Manhasset in New York, New York City’s Forest Hills neighborhood, Pennsylvania’s Fishtown, and two in Virginia, one at Carytown Exchange and another at Fairfax Corner. All locations aim to build healthier communities by connecting people to real food.
“We’re leading a movement to reimagine fast food for a new era.” according to the company’s website. Our core values guide our actions, and we aim to empower our customers, team members, and partners to be a positive force in the food system. That’s why we’re building a transparent supply network, why we cook from scratch, and why we’re building a community of people who believe in the power of real food.”
