You may have seen Taqueria Factory under construction on the southeast corner of Ray Road and Arizona Avenue in Chandler lately. Earlier this month, the new restaurant was just issued its license to serve alcoholic beverages at 55 E. Ray Road, which just so happens to be the same address as an upcoming Frutilandia.
Come to find out, Taqueria Factory is under the same ownership as Frutilandia, according to public records. Based on this information, and because the two incoming businesses share the same address, it’s possible that they will both be housed in the former Walgreen’s building or that they will be neighbors.
Taqueria Factory will specialize in tacos and micheladas, saying on their website that they “bring the taste of Mexico straight to your table.” Their tacos, quesa-tacos, burritos, and super nachos will all be made with home-made tortillas and fresh ingredients sourced from local vendors.
Until Taqueria Factory and Frutilandia open this location to the public (maybe over the next couple months?), you can supposedly order Taqueria Factory’s menu online. Representatives for the businesses could not be reached for comment by the time of publication.
