A new sports bar and grill called The Nest North Sports Grill is getting ready to debut in Glendale, located at 5843 W Thunderbird Rd.

The company, led by owner John Brink, is getting ready to move into the former home of Pho Saigon Pearl, according to a recent application liquor license application. If approved, Brink will open a new American restaurant soon with great food and horse betting available. Last month, the company recently announced it had installed twenty-four 85-inch TVs. Considering the company is waiting on pending licenses and is finishing up construction, the new sports grill will likely open by next month.

This will be the second time Brink has tried to open The Nest Sports Grill, having previously opened the concept at 5123 N. 95th Avenue near the Aqua Fria Towne Center at Loop 101 & Camelback Road. The property went on sale for $890,000. Now, the owner is trying his luck again in a busy shopping center anchored by Fry’s Electronic and next to the Banner Thunderbird Medical Center.

This will be a perfect location for the new sports bar, considering the business will only have to compete with Cooper Door Bar and Jimbo’s Sports Bar & Grill. Customers can expect a variety of draft beers and American food items, such as burgers, wings, and sandwiches. The Nest North Sports Grill will sit just a mile south of Arizona Christian University and a little over a mile west of Arizona State University West Valley Campus.
