Last year we reported that Trapper’s Sushi Co. was on the hunt for more possible locations throughout Arizona following the opening of their first location in Avondale. Not long after, the Washington-based sushi chain opened a second store in central Phoenix and now they are gearing up to open their third.
Trapper’s will be taking over the former Ebisu Sushi & Grill at 39510 W. Daisy Mountain Drive in Anthem. The restaurant’s namesake founder Trapper O’Keeffe confirmed with What Now Phoenix that this location is scheduled to open by the beginning of April.
Until then, the 3,200 square-foot space will likely undergo some minor buildout, which shouldn’t be too complicated given that it was already a sushi restaurant in the past. Trapper’s offers at least 70 varieties of sushi rolls and nigiri, plus a decent selection of cocktails to wash it all down.
The opening of this third Arizona location will support Trapper Sushi Co.’s initial mission of creating more jobs in the area, at a family-friendly restaurant you’ll never get tired of visiting. For more information, visit www.trapperssushi.com.
