Good news for fans of waffles: Waffletto is officially set to open its doors at 406 N Litchfield Road on August 13.

The company, according to the website, aims to “provide a memorable and unique dining experience where we help you escape from your every day life.”

And by “escape,” they mean:

“Express your thankfulness for life.
Socialize with friends and family.
Celebrate your hard work.
Appreciate the things that matter to you.
Proceed to have a good time, and
Elevate your existence because you matter.”

This slogan is also painted up on the wall next to the menu to remind everyone of its importance.

The waffle choices here cover the savory — like the house “Waffletto” with fried eggs, bacon and spinach — and the sweet — like the “Piña Colada” with pineapple, coconut, granola, and condensed milk.

Although there’s never a bad time for waffles, there are also salad options for those who just might not be in the mood. Additionally, there’s a kids menu waffle with Nutella, strawberry, banana, M&M’s and chocolate dressing.

Pardon us if we order a few of those.

The owner, Brenda Lugo, confirmed that everything was all set and ready to open the doors at the end of next week.
