Wing Snob, a fast-casual chicken wing restaurant based in Michigan, is getting ready to open its first Arizona location in Phoenix at 3049 W Agua Fria Fwy.
The company’s new location is set to move into a space within the high-traffic shopping center near I-17, located near the Deer Valley Towne Center. The restaurant is expected to open in September 2025 through franchise owner Steve Fields, who previously operated a Jeremiah’s Italian Ice in Phoenix. Fields tells What Now Phoenix that he plans to open two additional locations in the Valley following the Deer Valley site, although addresses and opening timelines have not yet been announced.
Wing Snob was founded in Detroit in 2017 and has rapidly expanded throughout the Midwest, South, and parts of Canada. The brand is recognized for its made-to-order wings and fast-casual service model, which emphasizes quality through the use of fresh, hormone-free chicken and a diverse range of unique sauces and rubs. The Deer Valley location represents the next phase in Wing Snob’s national growth.
This new store marks Wing Snob’s first entry into the Arizona market, joining a growing cluster of national and regional quick-service brands in the area. The concept is tailored to serve both dine-in and takeout customers, with an emphasis on speed, consistency, and convenience.
Wing Snob’s menu includes traditional and boneless wings, tenders, sliders, and chicken sandwiches, alongside vegetarian-friendly options like cauliflower wings. Sides such as mac and cheese, seasoned fries, pretzel bites, and sweet corn complement the offerings, with catering packs available for larger groups or events.
Deer Valley Towne Center offers strong visibility and easy access off the I-17 freeway, attracting steady traffic from nearby residential neighborhoods and businesses. Its mix of retail, dining, and service tenants creates a vibrant environment that supports quick-service concepts like Wing Snob, making it an ideal location for the brand’s Arizona debut.
