Ziggi’s Coffee is possibly plotting an expansion throughout the Valley, this time into northern Phoenix. A building permit found in city public records indicates that a new Ziggi’s Coffee has been proposed for 42404 N. Vision Way near the Walmart Supercenter and Outlets at Anthem off I-17.

The scope of this job entails construction of a 1,503-square foot drive-thru only coffee shop. Representatives for Ziggi’s Coffee could not be reached for comment regarding this possible new location, but the timing of the permit suggests that an opening is due in 2023.

Ziggi’s Coffee was founded in 2004 as a small coffee shop in downtown Longmont, Colorado by Brandon and Camrin Knudsen, who left the west coast with the dream of starting their own business. They built Ziggi’s Coffee on the basis of serving a superior cup of coffee with stellar customer service, and since then have grown their business into over 40 drive-thru and coffeehouse locations across the nation.

The chain recently opened outposts in Mesa and Tempe, where customers have already been able to enjoy specialties such as the Raspberry Truffle, Turtle Mocha, and Salted Caramel Latte. In addition to classic coffees, cold brews, and espresso drinks, Ziggi’s also serves teas, fruit smoothies, blended drinks, and Red Bull infusions.
