Painted Tree Marketplace, run by Mike Cavallo, is getting ready to open their first Arizona storefront at 16243 N Scottsdale Road, Major No. 4 in the Scottsdale Promenade.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding our business in Arizona,” said Director of Communications Charisa Rodriguez by e-mail to What Now Phoenix on Wednesday. “All of our locations are part of one family-owned business.”

The marketplace is a “creative community of shops” that houses hundreds of vendors under one roof. They specialize in gifts, decor, fashion, soaps, and candles among others.

Shoppers have a selection of hundreds of shops under one roof with all of the different local vendors. The vendors vary in experience, but they all share a passion for what they sell. The products change seasonally, so shoppers know that almost any time they come back to a Painted Tree, it could be a totally different experience than the last time.

The website also offers an area to apply to be a vendor yourself.

According to leasing intel, the market will cover just under 35,000 square feet of retail space. Rodriguez confirmed that they were shooting for an early 2022 opening, but no official date has been set just yet.

Correction: A previous version of this post listed Mark Cavallo as the owner. It is Mike Cavallo.
