According to a recent article from Oregon Live, Don’s Favorite Foods will open in Beaverton at 12500 SW Broadway Street.

A representative of Don’s Favorite Foods was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to Don’s website, their goal opening date is sometime in the autumn of this year.

The website describes Don’s as a prix-fixe restaurant that was created by a husband and wife team, Chef Don Salamone and Kate Laurents, in partnership with Sommelier Adam Galbraith. They will host an Italian and French-influenced menu that will change monthly.

Additionally, they will offer “1 seating” on Wednesdays & Thursdays, and “2 seatings” on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are required for Don’s, as their space is “pretty tiny, less than 500 square feet.”

According to the Oregon Live article, they state, “According to Salamone, the Don’s Favorite Foods menu will build off the pandemic-time pop-up Stevens Italiano, only with a little more refinement. Taking inspiration from Philadelphia supper clubs Palizzi and Her Place, the small dining room will be filled with dim amber lighting, marble tables, and around 20 green leather chairs. There’s no space for a bar, but Pacific Standard owners Jeffrey Morgenthaler and Benjamin “Banjo” Amberg are consulting on a small line of classic, easy-to-pour cocktails.”
