A liquor license was recently submitted by the listed owner of Harney Street Cafe for a new restaurant at 1300 SE Morrison Street.
According to City of Portland records, the license for the business called Frontera Sur was submitted on April 30 for the space. Not much is known about the new location, and when calling the business it was said this restaurant will be very different from Harney Street Cafe.
As of now, the business would open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day. There is no official menu, but items on the Harney Street Cafe menu include eggs, waffles, omelets, and lunch items like soups, sandwiches and salads.
Currently at this address is SpellCraftPDX, a beverage distributor that makes hand-crafted coffee and cocktail mixes. Before this, it was listed as RX Coffee. On their Instagram, Harney Street Cafe recently celebrated their fifth anniversary of being open.
Other restaurants in this area are the Flattop & Salamander brunch spot, Kachka Eastern European restaurant and the Italian spot Nostrana.
