According to a recent permit filing, La Sala Wine Bar aims to debut in the Boise area at 3956 N Vancouver Avenue.
La Sala Wine Bar aims to debut soon, with the brains behind the operation, Alma Hernandez, also having been behind Joyful Boards. The new concept will be a “full-service wine bar, bottle shop & charcuterie kitchen.”
An Instagram post from Joyful Boards that was reposted by La Sala in July tells us more. “It is with mixed emotions, that I can finally announce the end of a chapter and close to Joyful Boards & Co. Joyful Boards was formed to create beautiful and special moments with loved ones and family & friends.”
“My sister and I came together to make this happen in 2020 and we have shared so many amazing memories and have gained so many valuable lessons, lasting relationships, and heartfelt support. We genuinely can never forget how special our clients have been to us. We THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. As we close this chapter and our sister duo working together, a new one begins.”
“It’s because of that support that I have been able to see and gain the conviction and confidence in my own dreams and finally pursue something that I have been working towards for years. With the support of my husband and the confidence of my close family & closest friends, I have been quietly working towards securing a location to open my own wine bar and charcuterie kitchen.”
“We found our dream location a few months ago, the lease has been signed and we have begun work with our contractor & architect team to bring together the vision for La Sala.”
“La Sala” which translates to English as: “The living room” will be a unique place where everyone is welcome to come and enjoy our favorite wines from the PNW & beyond while learning about the history behind the wine and the many cultures that give life to the wine industry. La Sala won’t be your average wine bar & we hope to see you come in and celebrate with us once the groundwork has been completed & raise a toast with us!”
