According to a recent permit filing, Lane Cellars will soon open a tasting room in Camas, located at 340 NE 4th Avenue.

A representative of Lane Cellars was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to Lane Cellar’s website, “We have a future tasting room location! 340 NE 4th Ave in the heart of downtown Camas! We will be building the space out, so for updates on our progress, follow us on social media.”

According to Lane Cellar’s Facebook post, “This has been a year of growth for our winery and 2024 will start with exciting new beginnings as we wrap up construction & move into our tasting room! We are so excited to be in Camas, for many reasons.”

“The Camas Farmer’s Market is the best local market around and has been a wonderful way to share our wines! The Downtown Camas Association and their First Friday events have been so supportive and a fun way to connect with our community. But Camas is most special to us because it’s where John & I met and our story first began 30 years ago. So opening our tasting room, just a half block from that location, is super special.”

“Lane Cellars is a labor of love venture for husband and wife team, John & Kimberly Lane.  Knowing that great wines start in the vineyard, we have intentionally partnered with some of the finest growers in Eastern Washington.  As a small boutique winery, we focus on three simple elements; carefully selected premium grapes, limited production, and elegantly crafted food-friendly wines,” the company website adds.
