“We’re feline good with this news that Vancouver, WA is about to get its first-ever cat cafe!” said an Instagram post published on March 27 by Milky & Coco’s Kit-Tea Cafe.

The new cat cafe is preparing to launch this summer at 5000 E 4th Plain Blvd, Suite E101-103, offering Vancouver a “cozy, community-centered cat cafe.”

“Guests can unwind with locally-sourced coffee, tea, and snacks while spending quality time with friendly, adoptable cats in a warm and welcoming setting,” says the Milky & Coco’s website. “Our mission is to create a relaxing space that supports cat adoptions and brings people together through the joy of feline companionship. In addition to adoptions, we’re developing inclusive programs that connect with children with autism and seniors, fostering comfort, connection, and care for all.”

A menu has not yet been announced for the cafe, which has begun hiring in advance of its summer opening.

“We’re incredibly grateful for the wonderful response to our job openings,” Milky & Coco’s said in another Instagram post. “Once the applications close on April 16th, we’ll be ready to move to the interview round. Enjoy the holiday and thank you for your enthusiasm!”
