An Evening of Rum and Fine Dining
The InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk is inviting guests to experience a Don Q Rum Chef’s Pairing Dinner on Thursday, March 27, 2025. This one-night-only event at Cavalier, the hotel’s signature restaurant, will showcase a meticulously curated multi-course meal crafted by Executive Chef Andres Farias. Each dish will be paired with specialty Don Q rum cocktails, emphasizing Puerto Rican flavors with ingredients such as duck, quail, and yuca.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy three signature Don Q cocktails: the Don Q Cristal Mojito, Don Q Reserva 7 Mai Tai, and Don Q Gran Reserva Old Fashioned. A Don Q representative will also be present to offer insights into the brand’s 150-year history and guide diners through the tasting experience.
The dinner is priced at $95 per person, with a 6:30 p.m. seating. Reservations are now open on OpenTable, and seating is limited.
A Weekend of Easter Celebrations
As March comes to a close, the hotel will transition from culinary indulgence to festive family programming with a weekend-long Easter celebration. Guests booking a stay for Saturday, April 19, will automatically be entered into the hotel’s “Eggstravaganza” giveaway, where select rooms will receive one of several prizes, including:
- A $5,000 cash prize
- IHG One Rewards points ranging from 10K to 100K
- A two-night suite stay, including breakfast for two and valet parking
- A $250 dining certificate for Cavalier

Easter Brunch and Festivities
The Easter weekend festivities continue on Sunday, April 20, with a brunch at Cavalier from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The menu will feature a combination of refined dining and American breakfast favorites. Brunch is priced at $89 per adult and $39 for children ages 6-12, while children five and under dine for free. Brunch guests will also receive five hours of complimentary self-parking.
Before brunch, families can take part in an Easter Egg Hunt at 9:00 a.m., open to both hotel and brunch guests. Following the hunt, the Pecan Ballroom will host additional family-friendly activities until 2:00 p.m., including:
- Bounce houses
- Exotic petting zoo
- Family portraits
- Arcade games
- Face-painting
- Magic shows
- Live music
- Easter egg painting
For those planning a full weekend stay, Friday, April 18, will feature a Movie Campout Night, with inflatable bounce houses, an indoor pop-up arcade, complimentary popcorn, and soft drinks.
