Wiggins Hospitality Group has transformed a historic building into a new restaurant. The restaurant, Old City Hall, pays homage to the building’s historic roots. The menu features elevated American classics designed to appeal to New Braunfels diners seeking both comfort and sophistication.

The Old City Hall, a 97-year-old historic building in New Braunfels, has been transformed into a restaurant. Operated by the Wiggins Hospitality Group, the new restaurant has been thoughtfully restored to serve guests. It is the company behind the popular McAdoo’s Seafood Company.

Wiggins Hospitality Group is reviving the nearly century-old building for a new dining experience. It will begin taking reservations starting February 9, 2026. Opening Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Old City Hall will serve American classics like Peppercorn Filet Mignon and Spicy Vodka Rigatoni in a 200-seat historic space.

Timeless Classics Featured on the Menu

Guests visiting Old City Hall Restaurant & Bar can expect elevated American classics on the menu. Here’s a look at the menu:

  • Texas Beef Tartare (AKA Parisa): Finely chopped raw beef tenderloin with white cheddar, shallots, pickled jalapeno, and marinated mustard seeds. Served with saltine crackers.
  • Little Gem Caesar: A creamy Caesar dressing spread over little gem romaine, shredded parmesan, and toasted focaccia breadcrumbs.
  • Pigs in a Blanket: Mini smoked beef sausages wrapped in puff pastry. It is served with honey dijon mustard aioli and black garlic ketchup.
  • Tuna Tartare: Sushi-grade yellowfin tuna, diced avocado and mango, fresh lemon & chili oil crisp. It is served with toasted focaccia slices.
  • Spicy Vodka Rigatoni: Alla vodka sauce with Italian sausage. It is served with rigatoni pasta and topped with burrata.
  • Peppercorn Filet Mignon: 8 oz of certified Angus cut with tempura-battered onion rings and a creamy au poivre sauce.
  • Steak Frites: 8 oz C.A.B. hanger steak that is sliced and served with skinny fries. Alongside this is a creamy “herb & bourbon” sauce.
  • The Mayor’s Cheeseburger: This is a double beef patty sandwiched with American cheese, house pickles, caramelized onion, and béarnaise aioli. It is served with skinny fries.

Old City Hall will also include a distinguished beverage menu. It features drinks like ice-cold martinis, negronis, frozen gin & tonics, and more. The restaurant is open for dinner service only, with plans to start lunch service in the months to come.
