A new brewpub, Silver Lining Brewing, is coming to San Antonio — taking over the Second Pitch Beer Co. spot at 11935 Starcrest Drive, near establishments such as Charlie Brown’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill, the Korean restaurant Gogi Street, and Jerry Comalander Stadium.

The brewery’s owner, Carlos D. Valadez, made the announcement on Instagram, sharing, “San Antonio, GET READY! I’m thrilled to announce the start of Silver Lining Brewing Co. I was given the opportunity to acquire an award-winning local brewery company, which then lead to the ultimate idea and decision to restart, rebrand, and restructure to start a whole new brewery company.”

What Now San Antonio contacted Valadez to inquire about the business, but more information could not be gathered before the time of publication.

Nevertheless, the company’s website offers a brief introduction: “Silver Lining Brewing, nestled in the heart of San Antonio, crafts exceptional draft beers with a touch of optimism in every sip. Embracing the city’s rich culture, we brew with passion and precision, offering a silver lining in every pour.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
