According to a pending permit application, a new beer garden is in the works for San Antonio.
Coming to a 2,027-square-foot space at 11011 Shaenfield Road, Refuge Coffee & Beer Garden will neighbors eateries such as Blessie’s Indian Fusion Cuisine, Tacos y Burritos Metro Basilica 2 Taco Truck, The Taco Place Birria.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Co-Owner Ciara Nichole to inquire about the upcoming drinkery, but she could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing provides further insight.
The project is described as the “interior renovation of an existing single-story building” and construction is slated to begin on September 1, finishing on March 1, 2024.
According to its website, Refuge Coffee & Beer Garden was founded in 2016 and “serves incredible specialty coffee and the best local craft beers in Central Texas, as well as serve as a fun and safe environment for people to bring along their whole family.”
“By sourcing all ingredients ethically, locally, and organically (when possible), we are able to bring business back to our own backyard while providing a refuge from day-to-day stresses on our beautiful property that feels like a home away from home,” the drinkery shares.
