According to San Antonio Current, San Antonio’s Alamo Biscuit Co. & Panaderia — a breakfast restaurant where “Tex-Mex takes on comfort food classics” — is readying to debut a new location in Alamo City, this time on the River Walk.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Alamo debuted its flagship location at 9630 Huebner Road in 2019 and has become known for its breakfast, brunch, and lunch selection — ranging from Tex-Mex options such as tacos and tortilla soup to biscuit benedicts and hotcakes.
“All of our food, including our signature biscuits, is made in-house with the finest ingredients, ensuring quality and guaranteeing satisfaction with every bite,” Alamo shares on its website.
Owner John Vale shares with What Now San Antonio that the eatery has also opened at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan at 1310 McCullough Avenue.
“In just five years, Alamo Biscuit Co. has become a part of San Antonio’s culinary fabric, and now, we’ve been given the opportunity to share our passion for great food and community in what I believe is the best location in Texas,” he tells San Antonio Current.
The River Walk location is slated to open in March 2025. For further updates, follow Alamo Biscuit Co. & Panadería on Facebook.
