The Alamo Tequila Bar kiosk is set to land at the San Antonio International Airport in March next year. According to a recent state filing, the quick sip stop will open at 9800 Airport Boulevard near some of the airport’s newest concepts, 2M BBQ and Bakery Lorraine.
The permit also details that the group behind the Alamo Tequila Bar kiosk is none other than True Flavors Catering, founded by renowned San Antonio Chef Johnny Hernandez. HMS Host, which runs dining options for travel venues throughout the world, is behind many eateries at the airport and will likely partner with True Flavors Catering and Chef Hernandez to bring the kiosk to life.
“At HMSHost, culinary innovation is key to delivering the best possible dining experience for travelers,” the Avolta brand’s website reads.
“HMSHost has a team of internal executive chefs and celebrity chef and restaurateur partners that personally develop our menus, and our relationships help us to provide a diverse and robust dining program to meet the needs of all travelers.”
While tequila will, obviously, be on the menu, it is yet to be disclosed what else will be offered at the Alamo Tequila Bar kiosk. Whatever will be on the menu, it is sure to come with world-class flavor and Chef Hernandez’s pizzazz.
“True Flavors Catering promotes the celebration of food,” the catering group’s website reads.
“With the ability to create a tailored catering menu, True Flavors offers first-class catering services to meet the needs of your event while exceeding your highest expectations.”
What Now San Antonio reached out to representatives from True Flavors, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
Keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked for more details on this fun addition to the San Antonio International Airport. The Alamo Tequila Bar kiosk is set to open at San Antonio International Airport by March 2026.
