Babe’s Old Fashioned Food plans to debut a new outpost in San Antonio, according to a post on the business’s Instagram page in October — marking the seventh Babe’s location in the city.

Coming to 410 and Culebra, the eatery will land near Al Carbon Pollos Asados, Bunny Tunes Ice Cream, and Taco Warehouse.

For readers unfamiliar with the business, “Babe’s Old Fashioned Food has been locally owned and operated in the San Antonio area since 1987” and is known for “mouth-watering Hamburgers, hand-cut fries, hand-battered onion rings, and never frozen chicken tenders,” according to the eatery’s website.

What Now San Antonio contacted Co-Owner and General Manager Tony Obeid to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow the eatery on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
