According to Express News, the San Antonio food truck park Bésame — located at 511 East Grayson Street, near establishments such as the chicken wing shop Fried Hard, the sushi restaurant Nineteen Hyaku, and Restaurant Claudine — is working to reopen after a fire damaged the venue in March.

The owner of Bésame, Raymon Perry, tells What Now San Antonio, “It’s been a pain to try to get the power turned on for the trucks; we had a hard time getting the electricity back.”

“There’s a building that’s across the street, it’s owned by the same property manager. He’s offered to have us housed out of that facility in the meantime… We just talked about that last week.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with the park, it was founded by Ricky Ortiz in 2022 and later sold to Perry, who is also the restaurateur behind Ay Que Chula.

“We just ask all of the Besame fans to be patient,” Perry concludes.

Bésame is slated to reopen early next year. Stay tuned for updates.
