According to a recently submitted permit application, Bill Miller Bar-B-Q is expanding its footprint in the San Antonio area — gearing up to debut a new outpost at 9695 W. Weichold Road in Converse, near establishments such as McDonald’s, The Arcadian apartment complex, and Whataburger.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Bill Miller’s Director of Operations, Carol Lagutchik, to inquire about the upcoming spot, but she could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing reveals that local firm Luna Architecture will construct the 4,113-square-foot outpost from the ground up for an estimated $2,500,000. Sitework is slated to begin on February 1 and finish on August 31.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, “Bill Miller Bar-B-Q presently operates 75 restaurants in the San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Austin markets, primarily selling specially prepared barbecued meats and fried chicken,” according to its website.
