According to a recently submitted permit application, the national coffee shop chain Black Rock Coffee Bar plans to debut a new outpost in San Antonio.
Coming to 20147 Stone Oak Parkway, the cafe will land near establishments such as Chase Bank, CVS, and Smokey Mo’s BBQ.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s founder and executive chairman, Jeff Hernandez, to inquire about the expansion plans, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing reveals that renovations to the existing 1,400-square-foot space are scheduled to begin on August 20 and be completed on November 20. The project will cost around $500,000 to complete.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, Black Rock Coffee Bar operates over 155 locations across the States — predominantly in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.
Alongside chilled, iced, and hot coffee-based beverages, “every Black Rock location provides fresh, locally-made pastry and breakfast items,” the concept shares on its website.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
